Resources

By Vicky Nardone

Hi all!  Today I found out about two great events/resources for crafters that I wanted to share with you in case any of you wanted to take advantage of them.

The first one is a Google+ series for DIYers hosted by The NY Melrose Family, Oh My! Creative and The Smart Schoolhouse.  It's at 9:00 P.M. EST and you can RSVP by going here.  According to Jenny from The NY Melrose Family, "We will be discussing the "The Basics of Setting Up Your G+ Profile" with tips and tricks on how to maximize your profile as a DIYer.  We will also touch on the optimum way to approach G+ as it relates to our visual field."  I'll be there!

The second one comes from Mary over at Craft Buds. There's this really cool site called Craftsy that has all kinds of craft classes on all different subjects.  Some of them are paid, but there are quite a few free ones on great topics!  I'm taking a class on bag making right now that teaches you how to sew two different bags for free!  If you intend to sign up, consider going to the site from Mary's post because I think she is an affiliate and gets some kind of compensation for everyone who signs up through clicking through her site.  You can get to her post that talks about it here.
