I can't wait for Spring to come!!  Here in Buffalo we've still got snow on the ground.  For that reason I've decided to do my first giveaway with a hat I just knitted with one of my favorite knitting patterns.  I actually got this pattern for free at Michaels in the yarn aisle.  I'm also going to share the pattern (from Loops & Threads) with you.  I've lined this hat with fleece as well for some added warmth in the cold weather.  It's super soft, cozy and warm.

I first made this hat at the beginning of the winter in red to match my work coat:
This is the red hat I made for myself
I added fleece to the insides of both hats this weekend because I was fining the hat wasn't as warm as I would have liked.

To enter just leave a comment below and make sure I have an e-mail to reach you at if you're the winner.  I will choose the winner with a random number generator.  The giveaway will be open through April 5th and is open to anyone in the continental US.
I hope it's starting to get warm near all of you!!
